Introducing Linton… © Robert Edwards

Linton lies 9 miles South-East of Cambridge, UK. Whilst managing to retain the feel of a village, it is a bustling and friendly community with many clubs and societies for all age-ranges. The village is well served by shops as well as a number of lovely pubs, each with their own unique flavour and identity. Saffron Walden is ten minutes drive away, as is the Suffolk town of Haverhill.

Linton has four schools. There is an Infant School (Linton CE), a Junior School (Linton Heights), a secondary education Academy (Linton Village College) and a school for those with Special Needs (Granta).

We even have a zoo -  Linton Zoo - where the lions live peaceably alongside other species; they can be heard regularly across Linton (especially when the moon is up!).

Linton is situated well for travel. It is close to the A11 and the M11. It is well served by train stations approx. 20 mins drive from the village. Stansted airport is about 40 minutes drive away.

St Mary's Parish Church can be found at Church Lane, Linton, Cambridgeshire CB21 4JX.

Parking can be restricted on Church Lane, although spaces can be found on nearby Symond's Lane and near the Medical Centre, a short walk away.

We look forward to welcoming you.
